Generosity Impact in June | FELC CDC

As we move through this year of ministry transition, we have opportunities to reflect and engage transformation. In our worship each first Sunday of the month, we will receive a witness to the impact of generosity in our lives. This witness could be about a ministry our congregation is currently undertaking, a ministry that people in the congregation engage, or an initiative that is new to many of us.

In June we receive a witness from Tim Atkinson on the ministry of our Child Development Center. We invite you to read Tim’s witness by clicking here.

Benevolence Task Force Needs Your Input

We Want Your Suggestions!

The Benevolence Task Force is organized through the Congregation Council. The council has appointed Claudia Barlow, Ben Rode, Teresa Ringness and Merrily Porter for 2024. The task force would like your input to identify organizations or agencies the congregation would like to financially support in 2024. The money has been approved by the congregation in the 2024 ministry budget. We are guided by our intention to consider organizations that reflect our biblical and congregational values; to support some organizations that are local and others that are regional or global in their outreach and witness; and to financially support a group we are serving already in other ways, such as Micah 6 Ministries. We welcome your suggestions of organizations or groups that you would like to support. Please pass those suggestions to Merrily Porter by April 3: msporter58@gmail.com.
