Securing the Building Form | First English Lutheran Church

All groups using First English Lutheran Church facilities must follow this lock up procedure and submit the form at the conclusion of building usage. All areas used by a group must be checked, including areas people entered but were not reserved for use. Checking additional areas is helpful for better security.

Lock door
This is the door to exterior from the chapel. This door is not normally opened. Do not open to check. If you do open it, it must be closed very firmly and rechecked.Check to see if door can be pushed open from inside or pulled open from outside.

Sanctuary

Child Development Center

Lock door
Access from CDC hallway or on exterior through the gate by playground, at end of sidewalk. This door is normally only used by CDC but should be checked for security. Check door from outside to see if you can open it, or from inside by trying to push open without using the push bar.Door checked

The south facing entrance door is not normally used. Do not open it to check it, it is very difficult to close. If you did not open it, check deadbolt from inside. If you did open it: 1.
