2021 Drive-through Chicken BBQ
We had a great Drive-Through Chicken BBQ on Saturday, May 15. About 60 chickens were prepared, basted, and smoked. Nearly 50 pints of potato salad and 50 pints of pinto beans were home-made. Everything was packaged and distributed to delighted folks who came to pick up their orders, a few neighbors who passed by, and the nearby firefighters from Station 3. Our gratitude for the work and dedication of “The Crew” who were masterfully led by Randy Baden: Tim Atkinson, Nancy Baden, Charlie Boas, Allen Jensen, Bob Karli, Trish Karli, Sean Peterson, Terry Porter, and Teresa Ringness. Michael Coffey and Bryan Rust were around, trying to stay out of the way. We look forward to our next Chicken BBQ with delicious food and expanded fellowship as we carry on the tradition started in 1964!
